Following cardiac surgery, Dovega Powell's journey at Meadow Springs commenced on February 15th, 2024. Initially, Mrs. Powell relied on hands-on assistance for every facet of functional mobility and activities of daily living, navigating the challenges posed by sternal precautions with grace and determination.

Despite the brevity of her rehabilitation stay, Mrs. Powell's progress has been nothing short of remarkable. Engaging in intensive rehabilitation, she has embraced every opportunity for growth and improvement. Mastering bed mobility with independence, she navigates transfers and ambulation with distant supervision, eschewing the need for assistive devices. Ascending and descending a full flight of stairs under supervision, Mrs. Powell's dynamic standing balance activities showcase her newfound strength and agility.

In the realm of daily living, Mrs. Powell has reclaimed independence with grace. From dressing to meal preparation and medicine management, she executes these tasks with autonomy, requiring only supervision for bathing and showering—an impressive testament to her unwavering commitment to progress.
